LSI Awarded GSA Schedule Contract for GIS Services
STERLING, VA, (July, 2008) – LSI is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide geospatial support under Schedule 899-7 Geographic Information Services (GIS). LSI's contract, number GS10F0291U, can be accessed by agencies authorized to use GSA and in need of high quality, cost competitive and comprehensive geospatial consulting and production services.
The GSA Schedule award is the culmination of a detailed process in which the GSA evaluated LSI's corporate and technical capabilities, organizational structure, performance history and customer satisfaction. As a result, the GSA determined that LSI was well - qualified to conduct business utilizing this contracting vehicle and work directly with GSA buyers. With the GSA contract in place, agencies have an easy and efficient contracting vehicle to procure LSI's unique services at preferred customer prices. Under the Schedule, buyers have access to numerous LSI technical labor categories, all of which are well documented to specify levels of expertise.
LSI has been a player in the spatial data industry for over 15 years, serving national mapping and defense agencies with robust object-oriented geospatial software solutions. Prior to award of its GSA contract, LSI has been meeting sophisticated client needs that include Digital Nautical Chart (DNC) and Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) production, geospatial data cleaning and management, and extensive research and development in the field of true, volumetric 3D topology. With addition of the GSA schedule, an even broader range of geospatial data users and producers will be able to access LSI's capabilities.
