LSI is ISO 9001:2008 Certified
STERLING, VA, (April, 2011) – LSI, a firm offering software products and services to businesses and government agencies for the creation, maintenance, assessment, and management of spatial data, is pleased to announce that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 registration.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). To achieve registration, companies must implement a well-documented quality management system that ensures consistency and improvement of working practices and products and services delivered to customers. The registration audit included a review of LSI’s quality management system documents and records as well as interviews with employees throughout the company. Audit commendations cited the knowledge and attitude of LSI employees regarding continuous quality improvement and the control of quality records.

ISO 9001:2008 registration reflects the combined efforts of the entire LSI team to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, monitor and measure performance, analyze data, and make continual improvements. We’re very proud of this achievement.”
