About LSI

LSI has been in the spatial data management industry for more than 15 years, serving national mapping and defense agencies with robust object-oriented geospatial software solutions. LSI is an active supporter of Open GIS Consortium standards and has participated in key OGC initiatives.

Originally established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Laser-Scan Ltd, LSI managers completed a successful management buyout in 2002. In the same year, LSI expanded its service offerings to include cartographic production services. This component of the business has continued to expand, and LSI is now a supplier to federal agencies of both DNC ® and S-57 ENC production and maintenance services. Key to LSI’s success has been the implementation of an ISO 9001:2000-compliant quality management system that focuses on continuous improvement.
